The Mediaeval St Andrews App is a project undertaken by the Mediaeval St Andrews team to facilitate the exploration and understanding of the town of St Andrews using new technologies and innovations in computer science. The App enables learners to concurrently explore the town and access location specific research. Each site offers text, images, audio and video content. The App draws upon research being undertaken in the Institute of Scottish Historical Research and the Schools of History, Art History, Classics and Computer Science at the University of St Andrews. It also makes accessible early work by the project team on images and videos of reconstructions of St Andrews Cathedral, St Andrews Castle, St Salvator's Chapel, the Tolbooth and more. |
