Title
Kurzeme Harbour Warehouse / Kurzemes Ostas Noliktava
Description
A number of warehouses were built on the central banks of Liepāja port at the end of the 17th century. The warehouse “Bezdelīga” was transferred to the museum.
Blocks for load descent/ascent were equipped in the openings of roof windows. The first floor served for grain storage, the second – for a variety of piece goods. The extensions (weight room and office) were built in the 60-s of the 19th century.
Harbour Warehouse’s place of origin is Liepāja; and it was built in 1697. Re-erected in the museum in 1940.
17. gs. beigās Liepājas ostas kanālmalā cēla vairākas preču noliktavas. Uz muzeju pārvesta Bezdelīgas noliktava.
Jumta logu ailās bijuši ierīkoti trīši preču pacelšanai un nolaišanai. Pirmajā stāvā glabāta labība, otrajā – dažādas gabalpreces. Piebūves (svaru telpa un kantoris) uzceltas 19. gs. 60. g.
Ostas Noliktava bija atvesta no Liepājas; uzcelta 1697. gadā. Muzejā uzstādīta 1940. gadā.
